Website upgrade
Last night I upgraded to Wordpress 2.0 and Gallery2. Both installs went quite smoothly. The only difference you viewers will notice is that the picture gallery looks quite different. I’m really digging the new look and the new features that come with it. When I actually have some spare time I want to integrate the gallery into the framework of my blog.
Ethan update: Ethan will be 5 months old on Monday. He now reaches for and holds his own toys. Last night I had him laughing so hard that he pee’d his pants and it soaked all the way thru his clothes. When he gets excited, he does this happy scream kinda thing. It’s really funny. We got this tot wheels thing from Marie’s parents that is on wheels and he sits upright in. When he kicks his feet he can really get himself moving across the hardwood floors. The past week he’s been crying alot but I think it’s because he is starting to teeth. He’s still sleeping thru the night, which is just awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better son.
Fish update: my 29g tank is finally cycled! On Sunday I removed all the sand since I wasn’t liking it as much as I did originally and put in some brown gravel. The whole process took me less than 2 hours. I put the 2 tiger barbs in a 5 gallon bucket and then I scooped out as much of the sand as I could with a plastic cup. I then used one of my syphon’s to suck out the rest. Then I rinsed all the gravel and added it to the tank. At first the tank was a little cloudy but the next morning it was completely clear. Now I just need to order my live plants and get them planted, pickup my fish from VI Pets and then I’m all set. After alot of thought, I decided to ditch the species tank idea and go with a community tank setup.
I ordered tickets for the Sisters of Mercy show at the State Theater n Detroit on March 13th. This will be my third time seeing them in concert. I wonder if Doctor Avalanche will make an appearance?

Tonight I was cleaning up the files on my laptop and I came across this gem of a commercial that I downloaded in 2004. It’s a shame it never aired in the US.
